About Event

BLITZSCHLAG is one of the most distinguished cultural fests organized every spring by Malaviya National Institute Of Technology, Jaipur. Promoting creative youthful exuberance among the students, BLITZSCHLAG has in its store for you glittering treasures from all facets to keep everyone engrossed and fascinated. This year it will have four days full of events and recreation including interactive lectures by influential personalities to make young minds sway in the flow of new ideas. In the array of forthcoming events, creative society-wise distribution of the same has been done that would suffice better competition. Apart from the main events befalling during the 4 day fest, online events will start a month before to encourage more participation from across the nation.

Events

1) Social Hub: We at Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, believe in carrying fun and social causes hand in hand. We make an effort to fulfill our moral duties towards the society. We believe that the youth of today has a prodigious role to play in our view of moving towards utopian society. Consequentially, Blitzschlag`13 subsumes an NGO ZONE which aims to agglomerate 15 major NGOs under one roof and conduct Exhibitions, Guest Lectures and Talk Shows on various hot topics concerning the society as a whole. 2) Guest Talks: Since the inception of Blitzschlag, eminent personalities have visited the campus and imparted knowledge through their guest lectures. Continuing with the tradition we will be organizing various Guest Talks on various aspects of our society. 3) Grand Nights: To compensate the dexterous, involving and mind boggling cultural events, we have organized recreational grand nights for our audience. Blitzschlag has a history of organizing super-hit nights with performance of Dr. Kumat Vishwas, 3-D Laser show, Parikrama Band and many more.  Ramba Samba (Group Dance): One of the most anticipated and happening dance group competition of Rajasthan witnesses the participation of teams of some reputed colleges. The event will be judged by the eminent and esteemed personalities from the dancing world including the star dancer PRINCE (DID FAME).  Panache (Fashion Show): One of the sizzling war of fashionistas of all the times with colleges like Daulat Ram College (Delhi University), Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (Delhi University), IIFT Gwalior, JSS Noida etc walking the ramp. This year it will be an open theme competition. The event will be judged by the eminent and esteemed personalities from the glamour world including the star presence of MISS ASIA PACIFIC 2012- Miss Himangini Singh.  Celebrity Night: We are in talks with MTV Coke Studio for the celebrity night.  Spic Macay (Classical Night): MNIT will be MECCA for classical and art lovers on Spic Macay night with Sand Art and reputed Classical Singers being main attractions. 4) 50+ events which will be including Drama, Music, Art, Architecture, Film and Technical related competitions and workshops.
